A few years ago, three carriage companies operated in downtown Austin and provided walk-up-style carriage tours of the downtown area. As of the beginning of COVID-19, all downtown carriage tours ceased. The only company that still exists of the three that used to provide the walk-up street rides is Austin Carriage. However, she is no longer doing downtown rides. If you’re looking for the less expensive walk-up style street rides, the closest city that still offers them is San Antonio, TX and we recommend Yellow Rose Carriage.
